  • Communication data: Messages processed through our Stream Desk product on behalf of our clients.
  • Lead data: Business contact information generated or imported through our Lead Generator product.
  • Social media data: Where you connect Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, or Telegram accounts, we access data as permitted by those platforms' APIs and your authorisation.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our platform.
  • To process and respond to customer messages on behalf of our clients via AI automation.
  • To generate and manage business leads on behalf of our clients.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing, security alerts).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Instagram and Facebook Data

When you connect an Instagram or Facebook account to Selfmades, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant, including:

  • Reading and sending direct messages on your behalf.
  • Reading basic account information (username, profile).

We do not store Instagram message content beyond what is necessary to provide the service. You may revoke access at any time via your Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites.

Our use of Meta platform data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure.
  • OpenAI: AI processing for automated responses (messages may be sent to OpenAI's API).
  • Meta Platforms: For Instagram/Facebook integrations as authorised by you.
  • Legal authorities: Where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Data portability.
